The CDM Media Department is the second largest full-service media department in the industry. It has 75 years of collective staff experience in healthcare advertising and provides a full range of media services, including Journal, Non-journal, Convention, Online, PDA, Direct to Patient and Direct Mail to name a few. We have planned and executed print and broadcast campaigns for more than 100 products spanning virtually every therapeutic category and market, including 40+ successful product launches. The department has implemented strategically sound, effective, and efficient media plans with budgets ranging from $50,000 to $15,000,000.

With this much experience, the CDM Media Department has become a prominent force in the healthcare industry. A founding member of the Association of Healthcare Media Directors (AHMD), our staff also serves on the advisory board for numerous industry organizations including Perq/HCI, Association of Medical Publishers, and KMR/MARS, and also leads numerous industry committees and charity events.

The Media Department has been instrumental in broadening creative opportunities for advertisers. The department spearheaded an industry-wide effort to evolve the Association of Medical Publishers (AMP) insert guidelines to allow for more creative freedom and increased ad impact.

Perhaps most important, the Media Department maintains the perfect balance between strategic thinking and fiscal accountability. Through optimization of strategic plans, on average, we save our clients about $12 million per year.
